International Conference on Language Teaching Materials is a forum that researchers, academics, teachers, book writers, materials developers, and students can expose their ideas, researches and products on language teaching materials. The forum is designed in such a way that it can effectively provide advice on current and future direction for the Language Teaching Materials Development Research.
ELTeaM 2nd International Conference on Language Teaching Materials is organized by English Language Teaching Materials (ELTeaM) association and Universitas Tanjungpura.
CALL FOR PAPERS/ABSTRACTS
We accept abstracts of research and theory-based discussion paper in any of the listed topic areas or related areas. Your abstract may consists of ideas or completed/ongoing/proposed research in language curriculum and teaching materials, language teaching and learning, or related disciplines.
PRESENTATIONS
Plenary Speakers: Jayakaran Mukundan (Professor at University Putra Malaysia), Brian John Tomlinson (President of MATSDA – UK), Hitomi Masuhara (Deputy Director of the MA in Applied Linguistics and the MA in TESOL at the University of Liverpool – UK), Handoyo Puji widodo (Editor-in-Chief of The International Journal of Innovation in ELT & Research and a reviewer for peer-reviewed international journals (e.g., Asian ESP Journal, English Australia, Foreign Language Annals, TESL-EJ), and some other scholars in language studies and language teaching.
Parallel Presentations: located in different classrooms, there will be presentations of abstracts by participants that will come from different countries. Abstracts should be submitted before the deadline and will be blind reviewed by a team of scholars in related fields of study. Group presentation may be delivered in English or bahasa Indonesia but the abstracts should be written in English.
Teleconferences (Overseas Participants Only): using Skype or Google Hang Out video chat, there will be presentations by experts from various countries. Overseas teleconference participants can participate in all plenary presentations and selected parallel presentations. Submit your abstract, a bio statement (100 words), a photograph (1 mega pixel), and a video of his/her presentation (10-15 minutes). Online Question and Answer: 5-10 minutes. Moderators: the moderators of the plenary session will be provided by the committee. The moderators of parallel presentation will be appointed amongst the presenters. Those who are interested in being moderators are suggested to email the committee at <elteam2010@gmail.com>.
